Re: The Little Girl That Cheated At Everything

Really liked the idea, but it bothered me you hadn't kept the rhythm and the rims' pattern constant. It really broke the reading flow for me... Other than that, you did a great job :) Could you explain it? I'm very open to constructive criticism and I'm always looking to improve! Sure thing =] If I...

Re: The Little Girl That Cheated At Everything

God. You nail it every time with your poetry. The way you can develop a compelling story with fully fledged characters, without dragging it out for ages, and making it rhyme, is nothing short of witchcraft. Teach me your ways. This is the highest compliment coming from my writing idol ;A; Oh wow, t...

The Little Girl That Cheated At Everything

Winners never cheat, And cheaters never win, I guess whoever said that, Never knew Victoria Flynn. She got the best grades, And always beat everyone at games, She was a popular child, And all the children knew her name. Adopted by wealthy parents, Who were never around. Even though it might be lonel...

Re: My Favorite Color Was Purple

Yay!! I was so happy to see you posted something, I just had a feeling it would be a poem! reading this, I felt deep empathy right from the start, you have a talent with subtlety and evocative descriptions; something I struggle with sometimes. That ending was so heartfelt, too. TT As always, wonder...

My Favorite Color Was Purple

Trigger Warning: Abuse My favorite color was purple. I loved every shade. Mixing together red and blue, What a pretty color it made! I planted purple flowers, I wore purple clothes, Why did I love purple so much? Who knows? And then I met you, an artist, With a fondness for reds and blues, You made...

The Knife and the Matches

There once were two people, Who were both quite average, Both had a seemingly irrational fear, One feared knives, the other, matches. Well not the matches or knives themselves, But what they could do, One could be used to make you bleed, And the other could potentially burn you. They feared them bec...

Re: A Pig's Still A Pig

God this hurts. It hurts a lot but in a good way. It made me uncomfortable and I hated "Anna" so much. The ending was incredibly unexpected but wow it was spectacular! :D

Re: He Was In Love With Mirrors

Gosh, I loved it! I checked out your tumblr too, and I love all your poems (all the ones I could read in one sitting anyway!). You have a catchy style; it's short, to the point and usually with a twist :) This one made me smile at the end, I love the type of writing that throws you off your expecta...

Short and simple but that adds to the charm. I suffer from depression so this hits hard, but in a good way. Great work!

Re: Early Warning Signs

I have finally read the whole thing! Welcome back! I wish I was better with words so I can describe how it felt to read this. This piece hurts but in a melancholic kinda way? I'm sorry I'm not good at words

He Was In Love With Mirrors

There once was a boy I knew, He was quiet and a bit odd. He sat in the back row and kept to himself, His name, was Daniel Todd. I didn't notice it at first, It was just by chance, I turned my head and looked at him, Staring at a pocket mirror in a trance. He seamed to speak to it as well, And then h...
