Am I having Deja vu... or a vision?

Whenever I experience Deja vu, which happens frequently enough, the "memory" of the moment I'm seeing is so vivid and real that I feel as though I'm about to faint. I become dizzy and everything is blurred, I usually grab hold of the wall or anything I can use to steady myself. Following t...

Re: Contest Guidelines

Hi Abbyka, Just wondering if the "June contest" is still valid? It used to say "June - July 2017", but now it only reads June 2017, still with a deadline of July 31st 2017. Should I post the entries there into the new "July - September 2017" forum? I'm a little confused...

Re: My Prey and Me

Holy.... Feels weird to say but this was oddly beautiful in a really grotesque, horrifying way. Amazing work. Wow, haha, thank you! Your compliment means a lot. I hoped the reader would find the irony of what beauty poetry brings, yet how horrifying the reality is. That's a great label: "Beaut...

"Nowhere"

[...] It's dark in here. Hello!!! I'm here. Can you hear me? Where are you?! It's so dark. I don't know where I am. Who's calling me? Where are you?! Can you hear me! Who is that? Did you just hear me?! Um.. yes? Yes I can hear you. I've been calling out for so long! Searching for you for SO long. W...

Haha thanks! I wanted to take a shot at a some-what poetry style horror story, it was interesting!

Re: Contest Guidelines

Can we post a story we have already posted in another board? Just double checking.
Also, does the 10 post rule specifically mean stories or any kind of post will count toward that?

Night terror

A really long time ago, when I was probably around 10 or 11, I had a completely normal day like countless other children probably did. A perfectly normal day .... and then a perfectly normal evening... and then I went to bed. Nothing else was normal after that. I soon find myself awake, standing by ...

My Daughter Giggles at Night

It's 3 o'clock in the morning, and I can hear my daughter giggling. This is the third night in a row I've been startled awake and it's really starting to drive me crazy. Normally this wouldn't annoy a mother like myself who loves her daughter, especially since she's only three.... but when you need ...

The Man that ran beside my car

When I was 6 years old until maybe 10 years old, I always saw a man running beside my car. Sometimes he was a boy, sometimes an older man. I'd watch him jump on electric posts and swing to the next one, running as fast as he could to stay at pace with the car. Sometimes he ran on two legs, sometimes...

Loved this one. They say that cats stare off because they can see into other dimensions, in more common terms, they can see the dead.
