Re: Family Traditions

That was absolutely brilliant, I loved the slow and completely normal build-up before the climax - which was written masterfully, btw. I liked how you didn't need to go into the gore or the sexual assault, but just hinted at it with minimal expertise. Honestly one of my favourite stories I've read o...

Re: The Signal

Love it, very Lovecraftian. I wanted more in this storyworld, but at the same time I thought the length of this was perfect, I loved the fact that there was barely a set-up and we spent most of the story in the climax. Really well-written!

What Is This

What is this Oh God what is this I’m chained to my bed Cold and unfamiliar I can’t move can’t even struggle But that’s not the worst of it Hell is empty and all the devils are here Maggots and earthworms and ants oh my Crawling over me Burrowing into my skin Monsters growling from under the bed ...

Re: A Love Letter

Over-used plot that had it's twist revealed to early (and I had figured it out even before that). However, fcking amazing writing style. It was so delicate, like an actual love letter, and when the dude got all threat-y, it was beautiful brutal. A difficult format to tackle too. Maybe with future w...

Poetic Justice

The woman was belovéd, the author Of prose and verse. Her words, a glimpse of God. But now, she writes forever, straining wrist, Her ink never drying, her words but brief, A book that will never be read, nor loved. This couple were lovers; that is a fact. Their love, unbroken through strife, through...

Re: The Gravedigger

I've read multiple stories from you lately, and I must say I love them all. You seem to have a different style of writing in all of them and I love the descriptions you use. Personally, this is one of my favorites. I love the repetition of lines, it really adds to the eerie feel of the story. Thank...

Re: A Love Letter

I got chills... Your story may be cliche, but what matters is that you took an idea and made it into your own thing. I think that's great. I loved the twist. Thanks very much Raindrop! I really don't think it's the best thing I've written; the cliche does undermine it quite a bit. Still, really gla...

Re: A Love Letter

Honestly? It's forced and sounds like what it is- a story. It's also a really, really, incredibly cliche idea, and that makes it rather hard to be scared of. Well, thanks for the criticism at least. Is there anything else you didn't like? You've critiqued the idea behind it, anything about my writi...

A Love Letter

Criticism appreciated. I'm not very good at trigger warnings, so if you think it deserves any, please let me know. Georgia, my dearest love, I have never felt anything like what I feel for you. My very soul is on fire. Life seems to be in monochrome, with you being the only thing in colour. The onl...

Re: Running

What was the fourth odd thing about him? I think it may have been left out on purpose; the end suggests that this thing will come for us, but we still don't know why or how. The ending was meant to be a bit more abstract than the rest of the story. Whatever or whomever this is, we're not really mea...

Abbyka, I edited it when you reposted the rule, and it looked like it worked for me. For me, it still looks like I've redirected people to a google doc instead of my personal blog.

Also, thank you so much thatamorgana!

Bright Blue Eyes in the Kingdom of the Sick

t/w; swearing & something that is similar to child abuse I loved my daddy. I loved him so much. But sometimes daddy couldn’t see that, and got very very sad. Which is why after school on a Monday after mummy drove me home, I walked into daddy’s bedroom and saw that he had hanged himself. There ...
