While there are probably some logical explanations to what happened to me last night, I figured I'd post it anyways because it really fucking scared me. First, let me explain a little about what's been going on lately. My husband has started working the night shift at Walmart within the last week. Because he works nights, we've put up several layers of black curtains to block out light so he can sleep during the day. Last night was the first night since that we've been able to sleep in the same bed together. He decided to relax a bit before bed by having a few drinks, but wasn't black out drunk or anything. We went to bed around 1 am and both of us fell asleep comfortably.
Two hours later I was jolted awake with this severe feeling of something invading my personal space. My heart was racing because I was in a panic. My eyes settled on a pair of wide eyes inches from my face staring at me. It was pitch black in our room, but somehow I could see these eyes and the silhouette of the person it belonged to, which appeared somehow blacker than the rest of the room. It was almost as though the eyes were emitting their own light. I was so frightened my entire body lifted from the mattress when I jumped towards my husband's side of the bed. This required me to turn to face him(I'm not normally this agile!).
I shook him awake and was frantically looking around the room while harshly whispering his name and telling him something was staring at me. I was totally WIDE awake. He slowly sat up and started rubbing my hand lovingly, like he usually does, but he just didn't seem right. First, he started asking me if I had any clothes. He was saying this in a loving way, but it made no sense. I kept asking him "what clothes" and he slowly started getting angry and really aggressive saying "the clothes you want to purchase! I have to scan them!". He was scaring me because he was giving me a violent vibe, which I never get from him. Once I figured out that he thought he was working I said "HONEY! We're home!" He suddenly went silent. The violent vibe I was feeling vanished and he got up and walked straight into a wall before turning around and making his way to the bathroom. I followed him to the bathroom to make sure he was okay and then back to the room. He didn't say anything more and went right back to sleep. It took me a couple of hours to go back to sleep. T_T
Possibly I was half asleep and imagined the eyes, but I've been sensing something in our room for a while now. So it could go either way. As for my husband, either he was influenced by whatever I saw or it was a coincidence that he was sleep walking. I'm leaning the second. The combo of him drinking a little coupled with his exhaustion of working not one but two jobs probably caused him to sleep walk. He remembers a little of it though, so I'm unsure. As much as I know there are logical explanations it still really freaked me out and still does.
A place to share scary/creepy real life encounters.
That is creepy, but I agree that there are logical explanations behind it. Hallucinating is very common just after you've woken up, I've experienced all kinds of things lurking around my bed or even climbing on top of me as my brain catches up. Still, if you feel like you're being watched then who knows? Unless things turn violent it shouldn't be something to worry about, just keep your eye out for any more strange activity.

We've been having so many of my toddler's toys going off for no reason since then that we've had to remove the batteries from a majority of them. And I don't know if my son is messing with me but he's been pointing to random places and saying "ghost". He's a prankster though, so I'm skeptical about that one. Still freaks me out though. lol
