So, I don't know if this is exactly a "Glitch in the Matrix" kind of thing, but I don't know where else it would go.
Sometimes, I can "predict" the future. Well, maybe that's an understatement. I don't have big predictions about what's going to happen in three months, it's more of like little dreams about something small that's going to happen. The most vivid one I remember is when I was probably about nine or ten. I was looking down at my feet and talking to someone. I was talking about tacos, something about giving some of mine to whoever it was. I don't remember if this vision came in a dream or what.
Sure enough, a few months later, I was talking to my cousin about sharing some tacos with him. I was looking down at my feet and everything. It was exactly like I remembered it.
That's the only one where I can remember remembering things before it happened. There have been a few other experiences similar to that one, but I can't name them. It's kind of like I can recall a place and a sense of what I'm doing, whether it's talking to someone, or going on the computer, or doing homework.
I'm sure a lot of people have gone through the same kind of thing, and I'm curious as to what your experiences are with this kind of thing.
A glitch in the matrix is an experience that proves something isn’t right in the world or sometimes your brain.
I have this all the time, too. My most vivid memory of it happened when I was about nine as well. It was winter. I remember that I was in bed. I dreamt that my dad woke me up and told me that the power had gone out and that we all needed to go sleep by the fireplace in the front room to keep warm. He was carrying a vanilla scented Glade candle. He sat the candle down on my nightstand and helped me up out of bed before we headed to the front room with my blankets and my teddy bear. Then the dream ended. Probably ten to twenty minutes later, exactly that happened. Every detail was the same, even the candle. It was super weird and unsettling at the time, and it felt like I was walking through a dream. But then it kept happening, just in more vague ways. I used to always say something out loud when I'd get an intense feeling that I knew where we were or what was going to happen or that I'd already been through the situation or conversation, but it kept happening so often that my friends and family started getting annoyed with me when I spoke up. But I still get it all the time, almost ten years later.
